A little bit about me …
I am an artist practicing in various mediums from vintage photographic processes including wet plate collodion and alternative printing to ink, paint, and more recently sculpture.
Working from my rural studio in Highland Perthshire much of my work is inspired by people, the human form and nature where I tend to follow whatever crooked path I find in front of me.
At this point I could prattle on about my background, my achievements and qualifications but the problem here is that will define me as a creative and not help you understand me as a person.
What matters to me is who I am and the work I am doing today, and how I relate to others.
Art is an extremely emotive and personal thing, if folk find something in my work that they either like or resonates then great, if not thats also good, if we all liked the same things then wouldn’t the world be a pretty boring place ?
