Life drawing has been part of my creative process for many years both as an artist and a sitter where the experience of working on both sides of the easel has been a significant help to my other work as an artist and also to myself on a personal level.

A lot of my figure artwork to date have been experimental or play working more from reference photos due to availability of subjects however I would prefer to work from a live sitter whenever possible. I am now planning to focus more of my painting work on the human form for which I am in search of suitable models.

I first sat for a class many years ago which has been an extremely rewarding experience enabling a true sense of empathy with a model when drawing from life.
