I have practiced figure drawing for a number years, actually its been more dabbling than practicing and it has been an enormous benefit in my figure and portrait photography and more recently painting and sculpture work.

Much of my work has been somewhat experimental, more for play than attempting to create finished artworks although recently I have started to take the human form more seriously in my painting work where I am keen to work more from life.

I have found that working as a sitter for artists and group classes has given me a level of true empathy for a model strengthening my own relationship with a sitter as an artist.
